The game can be played either in single or multiplayer modes.

Space Engineers features a realistic, volumetric-based physics engine: everything in the game can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed. Featuring both creative and survival modes, there is no limit to what can be built, utilized and explored. Players build space ships, wheeled vehicles, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses (civil and military), pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive. It is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and on planets. There are a ton of mods I haven't included in this list, not because they don't deserve to be here, more because either I have never used them, or there is another similar mod already included in the list which I prefer to use.Space Engineers is an open world sandbox game defined by creativity and exploration. A good number of scripts that help with some of the more complicated issues New block additions that I feel add some nice value Mods that increase the general difficulty Graphical and UI mods to help navigate the interface!

NPC's and Exploration POI's to make your game feel much more immersive Quality of Life improvements for some of the more frustrating game issues I consider these mods to be the best of the best, and definitely worth looking at! Not all of these are suitable for every game, but more or less all of them will add some value to your save files! Of course, this is all just my own opinion - feel free to disagree!
